Knit Pattern - Windbreak Shawl

This pattern was designed with the use of two contrasting colorways.  

Shape = Rectangle with 2 pointed ends

Finished Size = ~18 inches wide x 74 inches long

Materials:

• ~850-900 yds of any sock/fingering weight yarn (2 colors play well in this pattern)
• ~14-24” length circular needle, size 6/4.0mm or size needed to obtain desired gauge
• Stitch Markers for counting and/or to mark Right Side
• Tapestry needle to weave in ends

• 1 Chaos Fiber Co Tonal Deluxe – (100 grams)
• 1 Chaos Fiber Co Variegated Merlin – (113 grams)

Abbreviations

K – Knit
KFB – Knit in the front and back
K2tog – Knit 2 stitches together
SSK – Slip, Slip, Knit
S2 – Slip 2 stitches purl-wise
wyif – with yarn in front
YO – Yarn Over
Sts – Stitches
RS – Right Side
WS – Wrong Side
MC – Main Color
CC – Contrasting Color
BO – Bind Off
CDD: slip one stitch knit-wise, Knit the
next two stitches together. Then pass
the slipped stitch over the last stitch
made and off the needle. This results
in a two-stitch decrease
